Copenhagen TRI meets Royal Palace

The Royal Palace and the famous historic sites of Copenhagen will be the back drop for the extreme thriathlon Copenhagen Challenge.

On August 14th 2011 hundreds of athletes will take over Copenhagen when they have to swim 3,8 km, bike 180 km and run 42 km in order to complete the thriathlon.

The 42 km run will pass by all the famous sites in the central Copenhagen such as the Royal palace, The little Mermaid and the picturesque area of new harbor.

Less than five kilometers from the City Hall one of Copenhagen’s beaches, the 4,6 km long artificial laguna at  Amager strandpark. This is where the 3,8 km swim will take place.

The 180 km biking distance will run along the idyllic coast line north of Copenhagen and go through the idyllic North Zealand, before it all ends back in Copenhagen.
